Turquoise is a stone that ranges from blue, pale blue, to green. The most famous mines in the United States are those of Apache Canyon in California and Sleeping Beauty in Arizona, hence the name "Sleeping Beauty Turquoise" which is highly sought after because it has very few impurities. For the Navajos, the color of this stone represents joy, luck and health. Turquoise is the most used stone in Native American crafts.

Lapis lazuli is found in indigo blue and azure blue. There are extraction mines in the United States, such as the Bighorn Mine in California. It is the stone of wisdom and courage, and helps with psychological stability. Opaque and always blue, even if it varies in tone, azure blue lapis lazuli is a metamorphic rock containing silicates. It combines nearly 14 different minerals, mainly lazurite, to which it owes its ultramarine blue, calcite, sodalite, and golden pyrite, which gives it its golden sparkle, so appreciated by jewelers and lapidaries.

Today, only red coral and Japanese coral are still used in jewelry. Coral is of organic origin, it is the skeletal remains of a marine animal called a coral polyp. It is a soothing and protective stone.
